I am/was a software engineer, who spent 40odd years living in the left side of my brain. Now in some form of retirement, I’m traveling the world with my spouse, meeting new people and eating things. And taking some photos along the way. It’s my take on the world as I see it.

I did a fair amount of photography as a youth, the film days... had a dark-room, the whole shebang. Some of the photos on this site are scans from those days. My interests are varied… athletics (track&field, swimming, lacrosse, soccer, rowing, rugby, bike racing), somewhat proficient guitar player (no one would pay me for it, though), woodworker (“Professor” Emeritus of Woodworking at the Andover Historical Society), Bar-B-Que pit master of a reasonable caliber (New England is well known for its BBQ (:-)), quite knowledgeable of history, geography and trivia (was urged to try out for Jeopardy, but demurred, as my buzzer skills would be lacking), during Covid I taught myself Portuguese sufficiently to be conversational when traveling. It’s also worth noting that I’m somewhat of a sufferable know-it-all. More than anything, I’m insatiably curious and greatly enjoy learning things. I hope you enjoy seeing the world from my perspective and it helps makes us all a more tight-knit human family.
